Paul L. Brinkman transferred from Recon Team Vermont to join Recon Team Wyoming in early 1970. He took the 1-1 position with Geoffrey May the 1-0. Brinkman held the assistant team leader position until June/July 1970 when he was reasigned to the Command & Control Tactical Operations Center.
Sergeant (E5) Brinkman processed out of the Army in September 1970 after three years service and 12 months in Vietnam.
The items shown include a second model 1-0 jacket with local embroidery, Shellburst and Vietnam Hunting Club patch, the CCC plaque is also marked with his dates of service with SOG. The items were sourced from Jason Hardy at Dog Tag militaria and feature in Volume 6 of his book series.
