As well as reconnaissance a common SOG mission, and often a secondary mission an an Area Recon, was the prisoner snatch. It took lots of practice and a number of methods were developed to complete the task, here we show a silenced Browning HP being used. Other methods included daisy-chaining C4 down a trail for use on larger groups, leaving a space where you wanted your prisoner to be.

Teams would be rewarded with an RnR trip and indigenous team members would receive a bonus and a watch.
