A Vietnamese tailor manufactured boonie with 2 inch brim and cigerette/field dressing pocket attached to the crown. The base black material is coloured with vegetable dye and has faded to a grey/green colour.
The boonie belonged to Marvin K. Meadows who served with 5th Special Forces (Airborne) assigned to A-411, My Phouc Tay in the IV Corps area during 1967.
