The Jungle Fatigues were designed by Natick Labs in 1962 following a request from Army Material Command for a uniform for Special forces troops then being deployed in South East Asia. The first pattern set the basic structure of all the jungle fatiguies but had some noticable differences such as;
Exposed buttons Epaulettes Waist adjusters A Gas flap in the trousers Leg ties in the cargo pockets Button waist adjusters
