Each SOG team designed and developed their own team patch that would be run up by tailors in Taiwan (most common), Japan or Vietnam. The patch on the left is the team patch of RT Montana and the one on the right a patch for MACV-SOG Command & Control Central (CCC). The patches were worn around camp but were discouraged from being worn off-base (as the aggressive skull design made a mockery of the discreet Studies & Observation Group name...).

These are reproduction patches but if you have any genuine patches with provenance relating to MACV-SOG then please contact me.
