CCU Collectors Guide: ACU Trials Issue CCU Uniform: Woodland:
A short history and guide to the new US ACU Uniform

This is the uniform hat was the transition between the BDU and the ACU. It features modifications that were to be implemented in the ACU such as Manderin Collar, Sleeve Pockets, Two chest pockets, Pen Pockets on the sleeve and Zip and Velcro Closure.

The CCU Uniforms were also used to trial different camouflage patterns to determine the best option, the result was the ACU pattern.

This is the version in Woodland that was used in Stateside trials by the 2th Infantry Division,to which was attached the 1st SBCT (Stryker Brigade Combat Team).
